Bloggers simply can’t have all the fun in the world of electronic publishing. True scholarship in the publishing industry can be hard to find, especially when data and finances are so often held under strict lock-and-key at the level of the publisher’s office, much less with Amazon’s reluctance to share hard numbers (until recently of course). But there are well-written and knowledgeable authors, publishers, and industry pundits doing their best to present high-quality information for the benefit of the public and their often resistant colleagues. Though there are many that deserve recognition, the pages below list a few choice sources that temper and solidify the opinions already offered in blogs.
